Date → Unix Timestamp

Select a date and convert it to a Unix timestamp.

What is a Unix Timestamp?

A Unix timestamp represents a point in time as the number of seconds or milliseconds elapsed since January 1, 1970 at 00:00:00 UTC, commonly called the Unix epoch.

Seconds vs. Milliseconds

Most Unix timestamps are expressed in seconds, while many JavaScript APIs use milliseconds. For example, 1754064000 represents the same moment as 1754064000000 milliseconds.

All conversions happen locally in your browser. No date or timestamp data is uploaded to a server.
